1999 Dalit Man Murder: Two Brothers Get Life Sentence in UP's Pratapgarh

•Sanjay Tiwari and Sangamlal Tiwari sentenced to life imprisonment for the 1999 murder of Dalit man Ramlal.
•Additional Sessions Judge (SC/ST) Hemant Kumar delivered the verdict in Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh.
•Ramlal was found strangled to death in a tubewell room on March 19, 1999, confirmed by post-mortem.
•Each convict was also fined Rs 50,000; a third accused, Ram Sevak Tiwari, died during the trial.
•The case was initiated based on a complaint lodged by the victim's wife, Parvati Saroj.
