Air India Restores Legacy Boeing 777 After 6-Year Grounding

Air India's Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, VT-ALL, returns to service after being grounded for over six years.
•
More than 3,000 new components installed and over 4,000 maintenance tasks completed at AIESL's Nagpur facility.
•
The aircraft was grounded in February 2020 due to unserviceable systems and ageing components.
•
Restoration efforts began in April 2025 to support Air India's long-haul expansion.
•
VT-ALL is the last of 30 previously grounded legacy aircraft to be brought back into service by Air India.
