Assamese Film 'Moi Eti Nixhasor' Selected for WorldFest-Houston, Nominated for Remi
•Assamese feature film 'Moi Eti Nixhasor' is an 'Official Selection' at the 59th Annual WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival in the USA.
•The film has also been nominated for a prestigious WorldFest Remi award at the festival, running from April 24 to May 3.
•Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Bidyut Kotoky, the movie explores a thief's life (Koduwa) against Assam's social and political landscape.
•It previously won the 'Award of Excellence Special Mention' at the Accolade Global Film Competition in the USA.
•Based on a true story by senior journalist Anuradha Sharma Pujari, the film is produced by NFDC and ‘red river & blue hills’.
