Bengal Guv Meets Top Bureaucrats, Police Officers in 'Courtesy' Call
•West Bengal Governor RN Ravi held a closed-door meeting with newly appointed Chief Secretary Dushyant Nariyala and Home Secretary Sanghamitra Ghosh.
•DGP Siddh Nath Gupta, ADG (Law and Order) Ajey Mukund Ranade, and Kolkata Police Commissioner Ajay Kumar Nand also attended the 30-minute meeting at Lok Bhavan.
•The meeting was described as a 'courtesy meeting' by a well-placed source.
•The meeting occurred a day after the Election Commission transferred several senior administrative and police officers in the state.
•Polling for the 294-member Assembly will be held in two phases on April 23 and 29, with counting on May 4.
