CDS General Anil Chauhan Visits Garhwal University, Interacts with Students

•Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan visited Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University's Chauras campus.
•He was accorded a traditional welcome by the university administration and NCC cadets.
•General Chauhan interacted with students at the medical college in Srinagar (Pauri Garhwal).
•Earlier, he visited HAL in Bengaluru, emphasizing indigenous defence manufacturing and Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
•He also highlighted the need for strengthening national security mechanisms and a sober assessment of India's defence system.
