Couple 'axed to death' in Jharkhand's Chaibasa; police launch investigation

•A couple was allegedly axed to death in their sleep by unidentified miscreants in Jharkhand’s Goilkera area.
•The children of the couple discovered them in a pool of blood on Thursday morning and raised an alarm.
•Villagers transported the couple to a community health centre, where they were declared dead.
•Sub-Divisional Police Officer (Chakradharpur) Kumar Vinod confirmed an investigation is underway.
•Police have recovered an axe from the crime scene as part of their ongoing probe.
