Dehradun Murder: Man Arrested for Strangling Wife, Dumping Body in Forest

•Police arrested Ranjit Sharma, 32, for the murder of his first wife, Rupa, whose body was found in a sack in a Dehradun forest.
•Rupa, a resident of Bihar, had returned to Sharma's life, pressuring him to leave his second wife, leading to disputes.
•Sharma confessed to strangling Rupa on March 8, stuffing her body into a sack, and dumping it near the Bala Sundari Temple.
•The body, found on March 11, was identified through investigation, including the deceased woman's attire and her missing status.
•A reward of Rs 7,500 has been announced for the police team that cracked the case.
