Delhi Heats Up: 31.5°C Recorded, Holi Forecast to be Hottest Day

Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 31.5 degrees Celsius on Tuesday, 4.1 degrees Celsius above normal.
•
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts a maximum of 33 degrees Celsius for Holi (Wednesday).
•
If the mercury reaches 33 degrees Celsius, Holi could become the hottest day of the year.
•
The Air Quality Index (AQI) was 216 in the 'poor' category on Tuesday, expected to be 'moderate' on Holi.
•
Punjabi Bagh recorded the worst AQI at 389, with 24 stations in the 'poor' category.
