Delhi Police Nabs Sharpshooter, Arms Supplier Linked to Kapil Sangwan Gang

Delhi Police arrested Sumit Punia (25), a sharpshooter linked to the Kapil Sangwan alias Nandu gang, in Dwarka.
•
Punia was found with a country-made semi-automatic pistol and five live rounds; he was absconding in a 2021 encounter case.
•
Based on Punia's information, police arrested alleged arms supplier Badar Islam (32) from Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, recovering another pistol.
•
The duo was part of a network supplying illegal firearms to the Nandu gang for extortion activities.
•
Both accused have multiple criminal cases against them in Delhi, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh, and are booked under the Arms Act.
