Delhi Proposes Two AI Centres of Excellence to Centre Under India AI Mission

•Delhi government submitted a proposal to the Centre for two AI Centres of Excellence.
•Proposed centres to be established at Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT) and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
•The proposal was sent under the India AI Mission, launched with an outlay of Rs 10,372 crore.
•The Centre invited proposals from states in January to set up AI CoEs to foster innovation.
•These state AI centres will receive financial aid and complement existing IIT CoEs.
