•The decade-old LAN system needs overhauling to ensure high-speed, seamless connectivity and efficient use of cloud-based tools.
•PWD submitted a Bill of Materials and a heat map report for 4,000 users and 250 Wi-Fi access points.
•National Informatics Centre (NIC) and IT department will finalize the Bill after a detailed presentation.
•The upgrade aims to provide a robust, high-speed, secure network, supporting e-governance, video conferencing, and enhancing productivity.
