DFS Secretary M Nagaraju reviews IBC cases, urges banks to expedite resolution

•DFS Secretary M Nagaraju chaired a meeting to review top IBC cases pending for admission and resolution at NCLT.
•Senior officials from DFS, Public Sector Banks, and Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India attended the review.
•A detailed review of top 20 accounts pending for admission and 10 for resolution was undertaken.
•Banks were advised to adopt a collaborative approach for asset value maximization, improved recoveries, and time-bound objectives.
•Banks were urged to minimize adjournments and delays in filing CIRP applications for faster resolution.
