DMK allots Rajya Sabha seat to ally DMDK; Assembly seat talks next

•Tamil Nadu's ruling DMK allotted one Rajya Sabha seat to its ally DMDK.
•DMDK general secretary Premalatha Vijayakanth will announce the candidate for the Rajya Sabha polls.
•The electoral pact was signed by DMK President MK Stalin and DMDK treasurer LK Sudhish.
•Discussions for the number of Assembly seats to be earmarked for DMDK will follow.
•Of the 6 Rajya Sabha vacancies from Tamil Nadu, DMK can elect 4 and AIADMK 2.
