EC to visit Tamil Nadu, Puducherry Feb 25-27 for poll preparedness assessment

•Election Commission, led by CEC Gyanesh Kumar, to visit Tamil Nadu and Puducherry from February 25 to 27.
•The visit aims to assess poll preparedness for upcoming assembly elections in April.
•Assembly polls are also due in Assam, Kerala, and West Bengal.
•EC previously visited Assam; CEC Kumar stated the poll schedule would consider the Bihu festival on April 14.
•Puducherry published its final voter list on February 14; West Bengal's list due February 28, and Assam's on February 10.
