Fake PWD Engineer Dupes Woman of Rs 4.56 Lakh in Himachal's Bilaspur

•A woman in Bilaspur was allegedly defrauded of Rs 4.56 lakh by a man posing as a PWD engineer.
•The accused, Rakesh Kumar, promised to secure a job in the Public Works Department for the woman's son.
•Neeta Devi, the complainant, met Kumar in February 2024, who claimed to be from Chopal, Shimla district.
•After two years of excuses and no job, Kumar refused to return the money and stopped responding to calls.
•Police have registered a case and initiated a probe into the alleged fraud.
