Former Nepal PM K P Sharma Oli's Father Mohan Prasad Oli Dies at 97

•Mohan Prasad Oli, father of former Nepal PM K P Sharma Oli, passed away at 97 after a prolonged illness.
•He breathed his last early Friday morning at the Nepal-Korea Friendship Hospital in Bhaktapur district.
•K P Sharma Oli, chair of CPN-UML, lit his father’s funeral pyre at Pashupati Aryaghat in Kathmandu.
•K P Sharma Oli is a four-time prime minister, ousted in September last year after Gen Z-led protests.
•Oli recently lost the general election in Jhapa 5 to Balendra Shah 'Balen' of Rastriya Swatantra Party.
