Goa Speaker demands GFP MLA Vijai Sardesai apologize in 24 hours over anti-dam protest

•Speaker Ganesh Gaonkar asked GFP MLA Vijai Sardesai to apologize within 24 hours for an anti-dam protest inside the Goa assembly.
•Four individuals protested against a proposed dam on the Zuari river at Mirabag village during the Budget Session on March 6.
•Passes for the protestors were issued from Sardesai's office, and CCTV footage showed them acting suspiciously and entering his office.
•Speaker Gaonkar warned of "appropriate action" if Sardesai fails to tender an unconditional apology.
•The four protestors have been banned from entering the Assembly complex in the future.
