Gurugram School Chairman Arrested for Defrauding Students with Fake CBSE Accreditation

Educrest International School chairman Vinay Kataria arrested for allegedly defrauding students with fake CBSE Class 10 accreditation.
•
Fraud came to light when 11 Class 10 students missed their CBSE mathematics exam due to not receiving admit cards.
•
School management allegedly displayed a fake CBSE accreditation certificate and affiliation number to parents.
•
Investigation revealed the school was only CBSE-accredited up to the eighth grade, not for Classes 9 and 10.
•
Kataria confessed to running the school for eight years and presenting fake 10th-grade accreditation to 25 students.
