Gurugram School Chairman Arrested for Defrauding Students with Fake CBSE Accreditation

•Educrest International School chairman Vinay Kataria arrested for allegedly defrauding students with fake CBSE Class 10 accreditation.
•Fraud came to light when 11 Class 10 students missed their CBSE mathematics exam due to not receiving admit cards.
•School management allegedly displayed a fake CBSE accreditation certificate and affiliation number to parents.
•Investigation revealed the school was only CBSE-accredited up to the eighth grade, not for Classes 9 and 10.
•Kataria confessed to running the school for eight years and presenting fake 10th-grade accreditation to 25 students.
