Haryana Boosts Healthcare Training with 4 New Zonal Skill Labs
•Haryana establishes four zonal skill labs to provide skill-based training and practical exposure to healthcare workers.
•The initiative aims to achieve United Nations Sustainable Development Goal-3 targets for reducing maternal, neonatal, and under-five mortality rates by 2030.
•Labs are located in Rohtak, Bhiwani, Panchkula, and Faridabad, covering all districts for comprehensive training.
•State Institute of Health and Family Welfare (SIHFW), Panchkula, plays a key role, training 1,211 workers, with an additional 5,220 trained at district level.
•Training includes CME, online programs, induction for new staff, mid-career for SMOs, and emergency care (BLS) courses.
