Himachal Assembly Passes Rs 40,461 Crore Supplementary Budget for FY26

•Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha approved a supplementary Budget of Rs 40,461.95 crore for the fiscal year 2025-26.
•Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu presented the demands, passed via voice vote.
•Budget includes Rs 36,374.61 crore for state schemes and Rs 4,087.34 crore for centrally sponsored schemes.
•Key allocations: Rs 26,194.95 crore for 'Ways and Means', Rs 4,150.14 crore for power generation, Rs 818.20 crore for disaster relief, and Rs 785.22 crore for water supply.
•Funds also allocated for Himcare, robotic surgery, advanced testing labs, road maintenance, and HRTC subsidies.
