Himachal Police arrests key interstate drug peddler in Chandigarh

•Interstate drug peddler, Sanjay alias Ganji, arrested by Himachal Police in Chandigarh.
•Accused, from Mauli Jagran Complex, Chandigarh, supplied 'chitta' (adulterated heroin) in Himachal Pradesh, including Shimla.
•His involvement surfaced after three arrests with 12.36g chitta in Rampur on March 12, 2026.
•SSP Shimla Gaurav Singh confirmed the arrest, stating police identified Ganji as the main supplier through backward linkages.
•Further investigation into the drug trafficking network is currently underway.
