Illegal Cigarettes Worth Rs 40 Lakh Seized in North Delhi, One Arrested

•A 51-year-old man, Sanjay Aggarwal, was apprehended in north Delhi's Kashmere Gate area with illegal imported cigarettes.
•The seized contraband is valued at approximately Rs 40 lakh and consisted of three lakh sticks of imported cigarettes.
•The cigarettes are prohibited in India due to the absence of mandatory health warnings on their packaging.
•Aggarwal admitted to being involved in the unauthorized sale and distribution of imported cigarettes for six years.
•He procured stock from Patparganj Industrial Area and supplied it to Haryana and Punjab, getting caught while stranded due to entry restrictions.
