India Ranks 116th in World Happiness Report 2026, Climbs Two Notches

•India improved its ranking to 116th in the World Happiness Report 2026, up from 118th last year.

•India performed better on factors like perception of corruption (64th), generosity (78th), and freedom (61st).
•Neighboring countries Nepal (99th) and Pakistan (104th) ranked higher than India.
