India's Digital Economy to Hit 20% of GDP by 2030: MeitY Secretary
•India's digital economy is projected to reach 20% of GDP by 2030, growing at twice the rate of the broader economy.
•Currently, the digital economy, including IT, IT-enabled services, and electronics, contributes about 13% to India's GDP.
•Increased adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across sectors will accelerate this growth trajectory.
•India has signed MoUs with over 53 nations to expand its Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) model globally.
•Under the India AI Mission, AI compute infrastructure is offered at one-third market price, with over 10,000 datasets and homegrown AI models available.
