IndiGo Has Lowest Pilot-to-Aircraft Ratio at 7.6, Ministry Reveals

IndiGo records the lowest pilot-to-aircraft ratio among domestic airlines at 7.6, as per Civil Aviation Ministry data.
•
SpiceJet leads with the highest ratio at 9.4, followed by Akasa Air (9.33), Air India (9.1), and Air India Express (8.8).
•
Air India Express employs the most expat pilots (48), while IndiGo has 29 foreign pilots.
•
IndiGo has 5,200 pilots (970 female); Air India has 3,123 pilots (508 female).
•
Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol presented the data in Lok Sabha.
