Jagan Alleges Public Health Breakdown in Andhra, Cites Diarrhoea & Food Poisoning Outbreaks
•YSRCP supremo YS Jagan Mohan Reddy slammed the TDP-led government over a complete breakdown of public health administration in Andhra Pradesh.
•He highlighted repeated outbreaks of diarrhoea and food poisoning, including 25 food poisoning cases in hostels affecting over 900 students in 14 months.
•Reddy cited an incident at Kurupam Tribal Welfare girls school where 16 students fell sick with diarrhoea, and two previously died from water contamination.
•Major diarrhoea outbreaks in Chebrolu, Vijayawada, Guntur, Gurla, Srikakulam, and Turakapalam have caused hundreds to fall sick and die.
•He mentioned a recent Srikakulam outbreak from contaminated water claiming five lives and a Rajamahendravaram incident with adulterated milk leading to seven deaths.
