Jamie Siddons Appointed Head Coach of Sri Lanka Women's Cricket Team
•
Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) announced former Australian cricketer Jamie Siddons as the new head coach for the national women’s team.
•
Siddons will assume charge from March 16, 2026, for a one-year term, with an immediate focus on the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
•
He replaces Rumesh Ratnayake, under whom the team won its first Asia Cup title in 2024 but faced inconsistency.

Siddons brings vast coaching experience, having previously led Bangladesh men's team, South Australia, and Wellington Firebirds.
•
The appointment follows the team's recent 2-0 T20I series victory over West Indies, indicating good momentum.
