Julian Brandt to leave Borussia Dortmund after 7 years

•Midfielder Julian Brandt's contract with Borussia Dortmund will not be extended, confirmed by managing director Lars Ricken.
•Brandt, who joined in 2019, scored 56 goals in 298 games for Dortmund over seven years.
•The decision is a mutual agreement, offering both Brandt and Dortmund a chance to reorient.
•Brandt recently assisted Maximilian Beier’s goal in Dortmund’s 2-1 win against Cologne in the Bundesliga.
•The club also plans to offer captain Emre Can a contract extension, while Nico Schlotterbeck's future is uncertain.
