- •CM Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the 280-km Akkulam-Chettuva Waterway Phase-I, a key milestone for Kerala's inland navigation.
- •The waterway will extend to Vizhinjam International Seaport, strengthening the state's water transport network and boosting cargo movement.
- •The project is part of the 616-km Kovalam–Bekal Waterway and aims to create a multi-modal logistics network, attracting investments.
- •CM also launched the Chilakoor Tourism Project and took a ride in a solar-powered boat through the Chilakoor Tunnel.
- •CIAL will conduct a gliding light-and-sound show in the Chilakoor Tunnel, featuring Kerala's history and Sree Narayana Guru's teachings.
