Kerala HC dismisses PIL against assembly proceedings on Rahul Mamkootathil

•Kerala High Court dismissed a PIL seeking to drop assembly proceedings against expelled Congress MLA Rahul Mamkootathil.
•The PIL challenged proceedings by the ethics panel, initiated on a complaint by CPI(M) MLA D K Murali.
•The court ruled the petition was not maintainable, stating it cannot direct the Speaker on House proceedings.
•Petitioner, advocate Kulathoor Jaisingh, alleged the complaint against Mamkootathil was politically motivated.
•Mamkootathil, MLA from Palakkad, faces three sexual assault cases and is currently out on bail.
