Kerala Police imposed Rs 3,04,150 in fines during the 'White Line–Lifeline' statewide zebra crossing enforcement drive.

The drive, conducted from February 25 to 28, aimed to enhance pedestrian safety and promote driver discipline.

Out of 46,926 vehicles inspected, 1,215 were found violating zebra crossing rules.

Enforcement teams were deployed at major junctions and accident-prone areas, taking strict action against violators.
