•Ugandan Harbert Kibet and two-time 5000m world champion Muktar Edris of Ethiopia will headline the 18th TCS World 10K Bengaluru on April 26.
•Kibet, 20, made his 10K debut this year with a world-leading 26:39, the sixth-fastest time ever for the event.
•The men's field includes top athletes like Khairi Bejiga, Rodrigue Kwizera, Gemechu Dida, and Tadese Worku, with 11 athletes faster than the course record.
•Defending women's champion Sarah Chelangat returns, facing strong contenders such as Brenda Jepchirchir (fastest 2026 runner), Lilian Rengeruk Kasait (2024 champion), and world steeplechase record-holder Beatrice Chepkoech.
•The World Athletics Gold Label Race offers a total prize purse of USD 210,000, with USD 26,000 for winners in both categories.
