Kuwait Residential Building Hit by Drone; Earlier Iranian Attack Casualties Worse Than Disclosed
•A residential building in southern Kuwait was struck by an "enemy drone" on Thursday morning, causing physical destruction and wounding at least two people.
•This incident follows revelations that an earlier Iranian drone attack on March 1 in Kuwait, which killed six US service members, was far more devastating than initially disclosed.
•The March 1 attack at Shuaiba port caused significant injuries, including brain trauma, shrapnel wounds, and burns, with dozens of personnel affected and one possibly requiring amputation.
•Over 30 military members remain hospitalized with "battle injuries" from the March 1 attack, receiving care in the US and Germany, including 20 with "urgent" traumatic brain injuries.
•US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth acknowledged the challenge of intercepting all drones, while Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell stated 140 US service members have been injured so far, with 8 severely.
