Maharashtra to get 11 new collector offices for faster citizen services

Maharashtra to establish 11 new additional collector offices to improve revenue administration and speed up citizen services.
•
State Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule announced the move in the assembly, aiming to decentralize administration and enhance accessibility.
•
New offices will be set up in Thane, Ratnagiri, Baramati (Pune district), Satara, Solapur, Jalgaon, Nanded, Yavatmal, Buldhana, and Nagpur.
•
A total of 143 new posts will be created, with each office staffed by 13 dedicated officers and personnel.
•
Proposals for 69 new additional tehsildar offices and 10 new Prant offices are also in final approval stages, promising a reformed revenue system.
