Makmor to Acquire 10 Electric Passenger Aircraft from MD Aircraft

Makmor, a Bengaluru-based consulting firm, signed an LoI with Germany's MD Aircraft GmbH.

The agreement is for 10 electric regional passenger aircraft, MDA1 eViator.
•
The nine-seater aircraft offers lower operating costs and near-zero emissions, designed for shorter regional airstrips.
•
Initial flight tests are targeted for 2028, with certification and entry into service planned for 2030.
•
India is seen as an early growth market for zero-emission regional air mobility due to underutilized airstrips and growing demand.
