Makmor to Acquire 10 Electric Passenger Aircraft from MD Aircraft

•Makmor, a Bengaluru-based consulting firm, signed an LoI with Germany's MD Aircraft GmbH.
•The agreement is for 10 electric regional passenger aircraft, MDA1 eViator.
•The nine-seater aircraft offers lower operating costs and near-zero emissions, designed for shorter regional airstrips.
•Initial flight tests are targeted for 2028, with certification and entry into service planned for 2030.
•India is seen as an early growth market for zero-emission regional air mobility due to underutilized airstrips and growing demand.
