•35-year-old Shankar Masthappa Mogera arrested for threatening to blast a bomb near Ullal mosque on Instagram.
•Accused posted the threat on March 2, aiming to incite communal hatred and disturb public peace.
•Mogera is a resident of Devinagar, Bhatkal in Uttara Kannada district.
•Case registered at Ullal Police Station under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita; mobile phone used for the post seized.
•He was produced before the JMFC court in Mangaluru, and legal proceedings are underway.
