Man Shot in Palghar Home, Accused Umesh Gharat on the Run

•A 52-year-old man, Suresh Varghade, was seriously injured after being shot in his Palghar home.
•The incident occurred around 2:30 am on Monday in Vadhave village, Palghar tehsil.
•Accused Umesh Gharat (45) allegedly broke into Varghade's house, fired at him, and fled.
•Varghade is currently undergoing treatment at a local hospital for gunshot wounds.
•Police have registered a case under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Arms Act; investigations are ongoing to determine the motive.
