Nagaland Assembly Condemns Racial Attacks on NE People in Big Cities

•Nagaland Assembly strongly condemned racial discrimination against Northeastern people in major cities.
•CM Neiphiu Rio addressed NPF MLA Achumbemo Kikon's concerns, citing incidents in Delhi and AIIMS Gorakhpur.
•Rio emphasized that such acts are unacceptable, violate constitutional unity, and demand dignity for all citizens.
•He called for greater awareness, stronger enforcement, and firm action against racial discrimination.
•MLA Kikon also proposed jatropha cultivation for biofuel as a solution to human-elephant conflict in Bhandari, Wokha.
