NavPrakriti, NASH Energy Partner for Lithium-Ion Battery Recycling in India

•NavPrakriti, a lithium-ion battery recycling firm, partnered with NASH Energy for responsible end-of-life battery management.
•The alliance ensures recycling of all NASH Energy batteries, including production scrap, promoting sustainability and resource security.
•Akhilesh Bagaria of NavPrakriti stated the collaboration aims for responsible material recovery and India's net zero ambitions.
•NavPrakriti's Serampore facility is eastern India's largest, capable of processing 1,000 tonnes/month, expanding to 24,000 tonnes annually.
•The partnership addresses India's surging lithium-ion battery demand, projected to reach 139 GWh by 2035, and compliance with Battery Waste Management Rules.
