Odisha Vigilance arrests engineer Pramod Ray for 129% disproportionate assets

•Odisha Vigilance arrested Pramod Kumar Ray, Assistant Executive Engineer, Derabish irrigation sub-division, on corruption charges.
•Ray was apprehended after raids revealed assets 129% in excess of his known sources of income.
•Vigilance sleuths found a four-storey building, a double-storey building, two plots of land, and Rs 4.48 lakh cash.
•Other seized assets include four two-wheelers, bank/insurance deposits worth Rs 39.21 lakh, and household articles worth Rs 13 lakh.
•A case was registered against Ray and his wife under the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act, 2018.
