Parliament to Sit Next Weekend for Missed Holidays

•Parliament will convene on March 28 and 29 (next Saturday and Sunday) to compensate for holidays.
•The Lok Sabha will not sit on Thursday (Ugadi) and Friday (Eid holiday, depending on moon sighting).
•Questions for various ministries scheduled for March 19 and 20 will now be tabled on Monday.
•No questions will be taken up during the weekend sittings on March 28 and 29.
•A similar announcement was made in the Rajya Sabha; Parliament has previously functioned on weekends, including for the Union Budget on February 1.
