•Puducherry CM N Rangasamy visited temples in Tamil Nadu ahead of the upcoming Assembly polls.
•He visited Sri Sarguru Appa Paithiyam Swamigal temple in Salem, Subramania Swamy temple in Tiruchendur, and Meenakshi temple in Madurai.
•Rangasamy was not accompanied by any party members during his pilgrimage.

•Election officials checked the Chief Minister's car on the Madurai-Thoothukudi highway.
