Rajasthan: 231 Tonnes of Explosives Seized from Fireworks Warehouses

•Over 231 tonnes of explosive material, valued at Rs 40 crore, seized from fireworks warehouses in Baran district, Rajasthan.
•The seizure was made from R.D. Brothers' warehouses near Mandola village for violating storage capacity norms.
•Officials found no safety arrangements, including basic firefighting equipment, posing a serious public safety risk.
•All three warehouses were sealed after a joint operation by police, municipal council, bomb disposal squad, and forensic experts.
•Seized items included sutli bombs, ready-made firecrackers, and explosive chemicals like potassium nitrate and sulphur.
