RSP Surges Ahead in Nepal Elections, Leads in 23 Seats as Counting Continues

•The Rastriya Swotantra Party (RSP) is currently leading in 23 seats in Nepal's House of Representatives elections.
•Nepali Congress and CPN-UML are each leading in three constituencies, according to preliminary election results.
•Vote counting commenced late Thursday night and is anticipated to conclude by Friday night.
•The elections, held on Thursday, saw approximately 60 percent voter turnout.
•These are Nepal's first polls since the violent Gen Z protests that led to the fall of the K P Sharma Oli-led coalition government.
