Skeletal Remains of Girl Missing Since December Found in Pilibhit Canal

•Skeletal remains believed to be of an 18-year-old girl, Roshni, missing since December, were found in a Pilibhit canal.
•Roshni left her home on December 28, 2025, after an argument with her family and reportedly jumped into the Hardoi branch canal.
•Her father, Ramesh Rajput, and other family members identified the remains based on clothing and other evidence.
•Despite extensive search operations at the time, Roshni could not be traced.
•The body had completely decomposed after 82 days, leaving only the skeletal structure, which has been sent for forensic examination.
