Telangana Police Bust Rs 2.05 Crore Ganja Racket, Four Arrested

•Telangana police seized 408.185 kg of ganja worth Rs 2.05 crore in Bhadradri Kothagudem.
•Four individuals were arrested for illegally transporting the contraband concealed under coconut fibre bundles in a lorry.
•The arrested include Suryavanshi Santosh, Mohammed Umar, Debrata Chakrabarti, and Naratham Roy from Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Odisha.
•Police confiscated the ganja, a lorry, a bike, and four mobile phones from the accused.
•Since January 2025, Bhadradri Kothagudem police have seized 6,688 kg of ganja worth Rs 33.44 crore in 84 cases.
