Thane hospital owner duped of Rs 10 lakh by partners; case filed

•Two individuals booked for allegedly cheating a Thane hospital owner of Rs 10 lakh.
•Accused entered a 10-year partnership in 2016 for a Dombivli hospital, investing Rs 63.20 lakh.
•They received Rs 1.28 crore in profits between 2017-2021, exceeding their initial investment.
•Later, they abruptly withdrew, demanded more money, and extracted Rs 1 crore in cheques, with Rs 10 lakh encashed.
•Case registered under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections for cheating, criminal breach of trust, intimidation, and defamation.
