Two arrested with opium worth Rs 1 crore in Navi Mumbai

Two individuals apprehended in Navi Mumbai for possessing opium valued at Rs 1.02 crore.
•
The arrests were made in the Ghot Camp locality in Taloja following a police raid.
•
Accused identified as Surinder Gurujant Singh alias Kalu (24) and Maninder Gurujant Singh (26), both from Punjab.
•
A case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
•
The duo is also wanted by the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC), and an investigation is underway to trace the source and distribution network.
