Unseasonal Rains Devastate Marathwada: 2 Dead, 11.5k Hectares of Crops Damaged

•Two persons died and crops on 11,500 hectares were damaged in unseasonal rains in Marathwada since March 16.
•The affected districts include Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Nanded, Beed, Latur, and Dharashiv.
•Gulab Markad (33) and Dipika Rathod (16) died in lightning strikes between March 16 and 19.
•Forty-one animals also perished in rain-related incidents during this period.
•Crops belonging to 20,896 farmers in 533 villages were impacted.
