Varanasi College Student Shot Dead Over Personal Dispute; Accused Absconding

•A 22-year-old undergraduate student, Surya Pratap Singh, was shot dead at Uday Pratap College in Varanasi.
•The incident occurred on Friday afternoon, stemming from an alleged personal dispute with another student.
•Varanasi Police Commissioner Mohit Agarwal stated that preliminary inquiry suggests mutual enmity between the students.
•The accused has been identified as Manjeet Singh Chauhan, a resident of Varanasi, who is currently absconding.
•Six police teams have been formed to apprehend Chauhan, and CCTV footage is being analyzed as part of the ongoing investigation.
